iQ Suite Labs

Privacy Statement

Effective date: 12 August 2026 · Controller: iQ Suite Labs Ltd., UIC 208914302, registered seat: Sofia, Bulgaria · Contact: privacy@iqsuitelabs.com

This Privacy Statement explains how iQ Suite Labs ("we", "us") handles personal data across our website (https://www.iqsuitelabs.com) and the common privacy principles that apply to our products. It is written to meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent laws. Because our portfolio is diverse, each product also provides its own privacy notice covering exactly what that product collects, stores, and transmits; where a product notice differs, it governs for that product.
Our approach in one line. We collect as little personal data as we can, we are transparent about what we do collect, and we never sell your personal data.

1. Who is responsible (controller)

The data controller is iQ Suite Labs Ltd., a limited liability company registered in the Commercial Register of the Republic of Bulgaria under company ID (UIC) 208914302, with registered seat in Sofia, Bulgaria ("we", "us"). We are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer at our current scale; our contact point for any privacy question or request is privacy@iqsuitelabs.com.

2. Personal data we process, why, and on what legal basis

We process personal data only for specific purposes and always on a lawful basis under Article 6 GDPR.

3. How your product data is handled

Our products are built to minimize the data that reaches us. In local-first products, your working content — such as transcripts, documents, generated output, and archives — stays on your device; we do not operate content servers for it, do not collect it, and cannot see it. Settings, preferences, and keys in those products are stored locally, and sensitive items such as API keys and license data are encrypted using operating-system encryption where available. Cloud, hybrid, or web products (current or future) may process content on servers to deliver their function; each such product’s own notice explains what is stored, where, for how long, and under what safeguards. In all cases, content leaves your device to a third-party AI provider only when you choose to use one.

4. Anonymous usage statistics (desktop apps)

Once a month, on the first launch in a new calendar month, the app sends us a single anonymous count: a randomly generated install id, the plan (free or paid), the app version and the operating system. Nothing else is sent — no content, no names, no e-mail addresses, and no IP addresses are stored. This tells us how many installations exist per plan and version. Your recordings, transcripts and documents never leave your computer.

5. Website, waitlists, purchases, and support

Collected through the form on our site and stored as a contact list with our e-mail service provider (Resend); used only to contact you about that product and any waitlist benefits; removable at any time.

6. AI providers | Controller and Processor roles

When you send content to a third-party AI provider using your own key, that provider processes it under its own terms and privacy policy, and you act as the data controller for any personal data in that content. iQ Suite Labs does not receive that content and is not your processor for it under the GDPR. Review your provider’s policies before submitting sensitive content:

OpenAI Privacy policy | Anthropic Privacy policy | Google Privacy policy | Groq Privacy Policy | Mistral Terms & Privacy

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Today the website uses only essential, functional browser storage (for example, remembering your theme and language) and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we later introduce analytics or advertising technologies, we will update our Cookie Notice and, where required, request your consent through a cookie banner before setting non-essential cookies. See the Cookie Notice for details.

8. Advertising and marketing

We currently do not advertise in our products or website and do not sell personal data. If we introduce marketing communications or advertising in the future, we will rely on consent where the law requires it, clearly identify marketing, honor opt-outs, and update this Statement. You can always ask us not to send you marketing at privacy@iqsuitelabs.com.

9. Sharing and recipients

We share personal data only with the service providers (processors) that help us operate — such as our merchant of record, our website hosting provider (Netlify), and our e-mail service provider (Resend) — under contracts requiring appropriate safeguards; with third-party AI providers only at your instruction and using your key; and where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell personal data and do not share it for third parties’ own marketing.

10. International transfers

Some processors may handle data outside your country, including outside the EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards under the GDPR, such as European Commission adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for more information about the safeguards that apply.

11. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose we collected it: waitlist data until you unsubscribe or the program ends; purchase and tax records for the period required by law; support correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and a reasonable period afterwards. Locally stored product data remains on your device until you delete it.

12. Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your EU country of residence or work. To exercise your rights, contact privacy@iqsuitelabs.com; for content held by a third-party AI provider, exercise your rights directly with that provider. We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

13. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk. Because some products store data locally, anyone with access to your device profile may reach that data; we recommend full-disk encryption, a strong login password, screen locking, and not using shared accounts. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

14. Children

Our products are professional tools and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.

15. Changes

We may update this Statement as our company and products evolve. We will update the effective date and highlight material changes on the website or in release notes.
